My clinical practice is based in trauma-informed and individualized care. I believe in the importance of exploring how race, culture, gender identity and socio-economic status impact our mental health. It is my belief that quality clinical care looks at the individual from a holistic perspective.

I engage individuals in a way that they not only feel heard but seen. My purpose is to create a safe and compassionate space where individuals feel motivated to explore their inner selves and maximize their full potential.

About me.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from California State University Channel Island, and my Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.

My previous work includes providing clinical services to diverse populations such as unhoused individuals, those who have been previously incarcerated, individuals struggling with substance abuse, and severe mental health diagnosis.

I have provided individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy as well as intensive case management services to clients. I support individuals by utilizing postmodern approaches such as taking a person-centered approach as well as psychodynamic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) narrative therapy, somatic awareness techniques, as well as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). My clinical work is based in trauma-informed healing, intersectional, anti-racism and client-centered framework.
